Colourless,transparent oily liquid,b.p.280,freezing point -65-80,viscosity 8 c.p.20,refractive index 1.44425.

Used as an interior plasticizer,may be copolymerized with monomers like vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate,styrene,etc. These copolymers are usually used in preparing coatings,films,adhesives,rubbers and fixing agent for pigments. When it used for the PVC ware,it can make ware soft,lucency,high transparence.

Due to its strong solublizing property,it may effectively plasticize polyacrylonitrile,polymethyl acrylates,which are difficult to be plasticized by other plasticizers.
